Home gardeners unable to effectively treat severe pest infestations on ornamental plants

Home gardeners with ornamental plants like bay leaf trees face severe scale insect infestations that are difficult to diagnose and treat without professional help. Current solutions (generic pesticides, DIY treatments) often fail because gardeners lack expertise in identifying pest species, understanding treatment timing, and applying appropriate remedies. This results in plant damage, loss of investment, and frustration with failed attempts.
